Pamela Misajon facilitates the rapid approval of medical devices internationally
IRVINE, CA, December 30, 2010 /Medical Products PR News/ -- Pamela Misajon, Vice President of Regulatory, Quality and Clinical Assurance at Neomend, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in the management of regulatory affairs and quality assurance.
Ms. Misajon has more than 30 years of experience in the medical device manufacturing industry. Specializing in the management of regulatory affairs and quality assurance, she is the vice president of regulatory, quality and clinical assurance for Neomend, Inc., a medical device manufacturing company. She has been given increased responsibilities over the course of her career, and now heads all submissions that go to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for medical device approval, oversees clinical studies and quality systems operations, consults, and advises on research and development.
Under her oversight, the company has passed ISO, federal and state certification inspections and maintained system compliance to standards and regulations. She became involved in her profession because she developed an interest in medical devices while in high school. Ms. Misajon earned a Bachelor of Business Management and a degree in labor relations through the University of Phoenix. She attributes her success to hard work and excellent mentors.
By working closely with the FDA, she is able to gain rapid market approval on medical devices in United States and worldwide. She completed a certification in quality assurance through Coastline Community College. A member of the Orange County Regulatory Affairs Discussion Group and the National Association for Female Executives, she gives back to The Sheepfold and The Salvation Army. In the next few years, she plans to experience continued professional growth with a successful medical device or start-up company. She would also like to continue her education and obtain an advanced degree.
