GALLEN, SWITZERLAND, July 10, 2009 /Medical Products PR News/ -- Provided SIGVARIS compression stockings and panty stockings are correctly worn and the instructions for care followed properly, they will last a long time. Pressure on the leg is physiologically correct - strongest at the ankle and gradually decreasing toward the thigh.
The SIGVARIS instruction video shows step by step how to put on and remove different SIGVARIS stocking models - calf, thigh and panty - with or without stocking aid. Besides that, it gives all the necessary information for correct care.
The elaborate shooting took place in a studio in Munich supervised by a professional film team. For one entire day a model has been putting on and removing SIGVARIS compression stockings and panties in front of the camera. The script did not only follow our instruction manual but also included hints and tricks to make the putting on easier in different situations, for example when the patient is bedridden.
The DVD can be played in the shop window, in fitting rooms or in the salesroom. It is also applicable in doctor's surgery or waiting room and further possible to be played during training courses for fitters.
For an individual handling the sequences can be played separately or in infinite loop. The pictures are accompanied by spoken comments and text. This SIGVARIS video is available in English, German, French and Italian.
