expEDIum Claim Browser as a Free Download from iTech Workshop
iTech Workshop (iTech), a Data Integration for Healthcare company announces the availability of expEDIum Claim Browser (eCB) tool that supports electronic EDI 837P claim file browsing as a free download. This utility is aimed at the healthcare market participants that use HIPAA EDI.

There have been over 1700 downloads of the earlier utilities that include expEDIum Functional Acknowledgement Reader and expEDIum X12N Dictionary till date.
This new tool is available for download at http://www.itechws.com/downloads.shtml and also a variety of Internet sites that list free downloads. The expEDIum Claim Browser is a Java based tool that allows one to browse a folder containing 837(Professional) claims, view the content of a selected file in human readable format, print a report of claims along with service line details. This tool also provides a search feature to look for a single claim among multiple claims for a selected file. This tool uses iTech's proprietary expEDIum X12N Thin Engine internally to transform electronic EDI claim files into its constituent data.
